В работе будет проводится сравнительный анализ действий Соединенных Штатов Америки с 2001 по 2017 год в отношении Афганистана, Ирака, Ливии, Сирии.
Структура предполагаемого исследования обусловлены сходными обстоятельствами всех конфликтов странах региона, их разными результатами, различными способами участия в них Соединенных Штатов. В работе предполагается рассмотреть причины и основания вмешательства Соединенных Штатов в эти конфликты, специфика политики в отношении стран региона разных президентских администраций: Джорджа Буша-младшего и Барака Обамы. Отдельное место будет уделено сравнению причин конфликтов, чтобы выделить сходства и различия в развитии ситуации.
Актуальность
Хотя признаки указывают на постепенную потерю мировой гегемонии в Соединенных Штатах, Соединенные Штаты по-прежнему остаются единственной самой могущественной страной в мире в культурном, экономическом и военном плане и, вероятно, останутся основным игроком в международной политике в обозримом будущем. Как важный игрок на этапе международной политики, действия Соединенных Штатов должны представлять большой интерес для всех, кто интересуется политической динамикой мира. Соединенные Штаты имеют долгую историю интервенционизма, и эта тенденция не демонстрирует никаких признаков ослабления, поэтому анализ причин, стоящих за ними, особенно более поздних случаев, может помочь в прогнозировании будущих действий США. После терактов 11 сентября 2001 года Соединенные Штаты проявили повышенный интерес к вмешательству или началу конфликтов в государствах, в которых исламистские организации участвуют во имя «войны с террором». Наиболее важные случаи в последних главах Американский интервенционизм; Афганистан, Ирак, Ливия, «Исламское государство», имеют некоторые фундаментальные сходства и различия, и поиск сходства может помочь предсказать, в каких конфликтах Соединенные Штаты будут участвовать в будущем. Различия, с другой стороны, также могут помочь показать рамки, в которых меняется американская война с террором.
